Suspiros

Pastelerías Suspiros, a nationwide Mexican retail bakery known for its high-quality pastries with a homemade touch, aimed to modernize its online shop to enhance the user experience and better reflect its brand. As my first project at LKMX, I collaborated with the Design Lead to create a new UI proposal and flowmap for the eCommerce platform.

Goal

To revamp the Pastelerías Suspiros online shop with a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate interface, facilitating online orders for a wide range of customers and showcasing their diverse product offerings (cakes, specialties, and more).

Target Audience

A broad range of customers across Mexico, from individuals seeking everyday treats to those ordering for special events, who appreciate quality baked goods and the brand's Mexican heritage.

• Collaborated on the creation of a new user interface proposal in Sketch, adhering to the established brand guidelines. And assisted in the development of a comprehensive flowmap to visualize and optimize the user journey through the online ordering process.

Impact & Results

While quantitative metrics were not the primary focus of this UI/UX proposal, the revamped online shop significantly enhanced user engagement. Notably, an innovative 'rain effect' UI element, which dynamically showcased cake ingredients, was particularly well-received by visitors.

This unique interactive feature reportedly led to increased website traffic and a noticeable growth in social media followers, particularly on Facebook, indicating a successful modernization of Suspiros' digital presence.
